Karma Wangdi , aka Asha Kama is the pioneering torchbearer of contemporary art in Bhutan. Recipient of the prestigious National Order of Merit ( Gold ) for his unstinted support to the youth. 

Asha Kama continues to live and breathe art at VAST Bhutan, a non-profit he established in 1998.
